Sun rising over Åbyälven.

This is a river that runs close to our home.

It flows fast enough so it does not freeze over completely during the winter. There was an otter family living here until this summer but they moved. I miss them, they were cute.

  1. I love this! I think I said that already, but it’s absolutely beautiful. COLD, but beautiful.

  2. This is just too beautiful to seem real! 🙂
I know it must be jolly cold (understatement!) but surely worth it to have this wonderful scenery. 🙂

    • Thank you! It really isn’t that cold though. I think it was around the minus 15° C that day. So really not that bad. We have very dry air. I am waiting for the minus 30 or 40 to experiment a but with photography. Or when we start driving the snowmobiles and get some movement in my pictures.
