I tried something new.

I tried something new yesterday that I thought I would share with you. When I go out taking pictures, like I did when the first snow fell, I always take a lot of pictures. Like A LOT.

I think I was up to over 300 pics this time…. I deleted the bad once but then I still had over 200 pics left. I can not nearly show all of them, people would get very VERY bored, but I don’t have it in my heart to delete them either.

So I tried something. I put them in a video slideshow, kind of like a timelapse video. 200 pictures in about 1 minute.

I will be making more of these videos as this was so easy to make and I can use them as promotion material for our company. I noticed afterwards I had the two black bars on the sides but I didn’t bother changing it. I will keep this in mind for the next video though. What do you think? ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

  1. Lovely to see this snow montage – and little red squirrel. ๐Ÿ™‚ Seems early for snow?

    • Nah, it’s right on time. Actually, maybe even late? By a week or two.
Isn’t the squirrel cute? We have three of them living in the tree in front of our cabin. We leave nuts out for them. Their fur is starting to change color now. Beautiful little critters.

      • Gosh – you must have a long winter!
We only have grey squirrels here – but they are also cute, tho not quite as much! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Our winters are about 6-7 months ๐Ÿ˜Š. You don’t move up here if you don’t like snow! I think it’s a family of squirrels living in my tree. I could spend hours just watching them.

      • Wow, that is the exact opposite of us here in Cape Town, where the summers are that long. ๐Ÿ™‚
And yes, squirrels are great fun to watch – you’re lucky to have a family living there. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Really pretty pictures. The air looks so clear (if that can be a thing). Very picturesque stuff; nice job shooting.

    • Then you know all about that feeling when you sit down in the sofa after hours and hours of taking pictures and now it’s time…. to put them on the computer and see them. I don’t really look at my pictures while I am taking them… not to say I just randomly take pics of everything. No, I am calculated and precise. But I guess I am very effective when I am photographing.

But to sit down and see your pictures after having been out… it’s nice. Especially if the pictures look good :). Then I start to edit and crop and nothing can stop me.

I’ll be making more of these videos, it was fun to make. Thanks for stopping by!!
