Channel 4 in UK contacted us about a new wilderness TV show

They are looking for British people who have quit the rat race and are living of the grid. The show will be hosted by none the less than Kevin McCloud, best known for presenting the hit TV series ‘Grand Designs’. He will visit people in their wilderness homes and get to experience first-hand the wonder of life in these stunning locations and tape it for channel 4.

People that does something like that, quit the rat race and move away to a remote wilderness location has always inspired me. Reading about people like Guy Grieve, who left his desk job and family to go and build his own log cabin in the Alaskan wilderness and lived there for a full year can turn me into a bookworm. If you have not read his book Call of the Wild – my escape to Alaska it can be highly recommended. Here is a link to an interview with Guy Grieve – The Call of the Wild. There are many more inspirational stories like that so click follow and stay tuned to get more recommendations.

Of course I must take the opportunity to do some marketing for our own Bushcraft & Survival nature adventures that take place in Europe’s last wilderness. Here you can experience the back to basic living in the beautiful wild nature for yourself that was the rough and natural way of life for our ancestors.

Are you British and quit the rat race to go live of the grid this might be something for you.
